Eleven runners met at the bike path by the WalMart in Rio Rancho for a tough uphill to Rainbow Pool. But coming back was quite a bit easier. Visitor Dan Young from Florida got his taste of cold weather, altitude, and hills all at once. As many of you likewise do, Dan makes it a point to take in other running club activities when he travels. Our winner this month, who came flying in with football in hand, was Jack Lynch. He was looking strong, so watch out you runners! Eric Pope is currently our points leader, but Jack Lynch and Suzy LFB are only one point behind. There are still four more months in this series, so anything could happen. Next month will be the Green Dress Run in the foothills.
