Event:
ABQ Road Runners Liquid Carb Loading (Doubling as the
July Handicap)
Our regularly scheduled July handicap is taking a
break this month so everyone can enjoy a special event
that we’ve coordinated with our friends from the Hash
House Harriers. Below are the details of this
event. All Roadrunners that participate
will be awarded the same number of points as there are
Roadrunner participants. So if 15 ARR members
are at this July event, everyone will get 15
points. I hope everyone comes out to enjoy what
promises to be a fun, entertaining, and refreshing
event!

Directions to start:
Go to the intersection of Tramway and Central.
Proceed 1 mile east on Central, do NOT get on the
freeway. Note that
somewhere in that mile the road name changes to
"Interstate 40
Frontage Rd E", "NM-333", or maybe even "Route
66". Just stay off the
freeway.
After 1 mile (just past the Believers Center) there's
a little
graveled parking area to the right (south side of the
road). Park
there. Look for hashers/ARR.
You might have to walk down the hill to the south of
the parking area
to where there's shade, a stream bed, and possibly a
stream. Your GPS
coord might now be: 35.0615,-106.4822
