New members can attend and join the Albuquerque Road Runners at our monthly club meeting.  New members will also receive a $10 gift certificate. Visitors are always welcome!!

Our monthly meeting place is Whole Foods on Wyoming and Academy.  We have the use of the sunroom to the south of the main entrance, and we will be able to close the door to keep the background noise down.  The club will provide some appetizers free of charge, and you are welcome to purchase dinner on your own tab.  Whole Foods has a wide selection of delicious, prepared, hot and cold foods.  They have a deli, pizza, salad and soup bar, sandwiches and wraps, single serving deserts, and every kind of beverage imaginable.  Jane Thompson has volunteered to bring a corkscrew.  Club members will receive a 10% discount on their purchases. 
 
Here are the rules regarding alcoholic beverages:
 
-The beverages must be purchased from Whole Foods Market and cannot be brought in from outside the store
-For licensing purposes, the beverages must be consumed with a meal. In other words the members will have to consume their drink along with some food and not by itself
-No one will be allowed to leave the store with an open container of alcohol
-And finally, consumption must be kept within reason
