The 2011 Women-in-Training Program begins on Saturday, April 30, 2011

Active Registration

Women-in-Training is a 10-week program to train beginning women runners to run their first 5K.  An intermediate running program and a walking program have also been added in recent years due to popular demand.  The group meets at Mariposa Basin Park on the west side on Saturday mornings at 7:00 am.  There is a short talk each week on various running topics followed by a warm up, group run, and stretching session.

Victor and Kennalee Nemudrov started this popular program in 1993, and they now have close to 200 participants each year.
